Adegbite Aderemilekun Shakirat - Group Head, Banking Operations & Internal Control

Adegbite A. Shakirat is a seasoned Banker and Professional Accountant, a Distinction, Higher National Diploma Accountancy graduate of Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999 and won ICAN Abeokuta Award for best student in Taxation. She is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) AMNIM. She was the overall Best Graduating Student of Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta (1997) and Best Support Staff of Gateway Bank Plc (2003).

She started her banking career with Gateway Bank Plc as a Head, Funds Transfer between February 2000 - January 2003. She was later promoted to the post of Funds Transfer Officer in February, 2003 with practical experiences in wide areas of banking operations.

She was later promoted as Branch Operations Manager and seconded to Intercontinental Bank Plc, China Town Branch in August 2005 with accumulated banking operations experience covering supervision of banking operations, Training & Development of branch operations staff to perform their functions effectively. A versatile & resourceful female banker, now the Group Head, Banking Operations & Internal Control of Allover Microfinance Bank Ltd.
